FT or PT POSITION Full Time
HOURS OF WORK: Mon- Fri. (Weekends as required) 3pm-11:30 pm (variable as needed)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
Works with Quality Control to maximize the quality of produced products.
Maximizes the utilization of raw materials.
Helps develop and manage the production-operating budget.
Meets the Gulf Coast Region case volume needs of produced products in the most efficient manner.
Works with Shipping and Loading to ensure the proper product rotation of produced products.
Interfaces with Sales and Marketing to meet volume and promotional activity requirements.
Coordinates the efforts of support departments (warehouse, QA, Maintenance) with the needs of the Production department directly or thru co-managers/ supervisors.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or five (5) years supervisory/ managerial level experience directing employees in a manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Successful candidates with our company must pass a drug screen and are subject to random drug screens during employment.
