EDGE is seeking a motivated, experienced Senior Ecologist/Biologist/Scientist/Project Manager to provide project management and senior technical assistance on multi-media permitting and large-scale capital projects for energy sector clients. Based in BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA, the ideal candidate will have established relationships with a variety of companies, along with technical expertise leading multi-media environmental permitting and large-scale capital projects. The Senior Ecologist/Biologist/Scientist/Project Manager will contribute leadership, client relationship, and technical consulting skills to support the growth of EDGE's clients, as well as have opportunities to mentor and develop technical staff. The ideal candidate brings significant consulting experience and client relationships in order to provide technical leadership, strategic direction, and cutting-edge technical support to grow EDGE's presence in Baton Rouge and our projects located throughout the United States. Responsibilities:
Prior experience consulting with state and federal agencies regarding Section 404 permitting issues and 401 Water Quality Certifications, as well as state wetland regulations is highly desired
Manage multi-media permitting and compliance associated with development projects with an emphasis on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Coastal Zone/Use, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and State Historical Commissions
Perform project delivery activities such as report writing, data collection and survey field work, data and literature review, and development of recommendations for clients
Oversee multiple projects within client's scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables
Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take active leadership role in the development of new business with new and existing clients
Capitalize on existing client relationships to expand EDGE's profile and market share in the energy market (i.e., oil and gas, mining, power generation, electrical transmission, renewable energy projects) through a combination of excellence in technical delivery and business development
Perform wetland delineation and endangered species surveys, and prepare associated documentation
Prepare proposals and cost estimates
Mentor staff to develop their skill sets
Provide leadership in managing staff performance, recruiting and retention, and mentoring personnel for overall success of practice team
REQUIREMENTS:
BS/MS in a natural resource sciences discipline, biology, environmental studies/science, or related degree (MS preferred)

years of relevant consulting experience
Recognized technical expertise by and established reputation in the marketplace, including positive reputation with key regulators relevant to impact assessment approvals
Energy industry knowledge and experience is a plus
NEPA impact assessment and multi-media permitting experience, including consulting for private-sector clients
High degree of technical competence and broad knowledge; coastal and marine emphasis will be considered a plus
Solid experience building sustaining relationships with clients
Excellent writing, communication, strategic thinking, and people skills

Well-developed teambuilding and influencing skills; unquestioned integrity; and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address client and business needs and challenges

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
