Job Description: Welders join or sever metals in vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in piping construction, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.
Interpretation of layouts, blueprints and work orders; clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch weld parts together.
Welding of separators, glycol absorbers, piping large and heavy wall vessels and flow coils. Must be able to perform quality x-ray welds on a consistent basis.
Must adhere to the safety program and maintain a clean work area and work safely around other employees.
