We are currently seeking an _ Applications Developer _, who will perform information technology and business consulting to review business needs and provide creative and cost effective recommendations, followed by successful implementations. The Developer will be responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementing and maintenance of diverse systems and reporting needs for the enterprise by performing the following duties and responsibilities.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Designs, codes, tests, implements and maintains custom applications and reports using technologies such as C#, , Reporting Services and SharePoint.
Installs, supports, maintains and troubleshoots in-house and purchased enterprise level software systems with an emphasis on problem avoidance.
Demonstrates knowledge of developmental frameworks and IDE's including; and Visual Studio.
Demonstrates knowledge of relational database design and management including Structured Query Language within SQL Server.
Provides in-depth business and IT consultation to clients, peers, management, and external partners to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
Identifies key issues, develops action plans, maintains project schedules, coordinates in-depth analysis, and delivers quality solutions on time and within budget.
Adheres to the Principles of Project Management, Business System Analysis and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Prepares complex technical documentation, documents own work and ensures area of responsibility are well documented.
Establishes and maintains communication channels to keep Applications Manager informed of project status, accomplishments, issues and challenges.
Participates in established on-call schedule.
Supports additional duties requested by Technology Management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent (B.S.) from four-year College or University.
3 or more years experience as a client/server developer and Business Analyst on multi-tier platforms.
3 or more years experience with .Net.
Experience developing custom software within Microsoft Visual Studio, working with SQL Server Management Studio, and related source code control systems, required. Mobile development experience, preferred.
Valid driver's license.
