Overview of Job Function:
The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for developing reports in OBIEE and also developing reports using OBIEE with NOETIX views.
Principal Duties and Essential
Responsibilities:
Work as part of the Global Business Intelligence team developing and maintaining dashboards in OBIEE.
Develop and write underlying queries to retrieve the data from Oracle eBusiness suite.
Maintain OBIEE security and segregation of reports.
Documentation of best practices for all reporting activity to include development, security and related queries.
Assist with evaluation of new tools and processes for future scalability.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in the IT field with a primary focus on Oracle E-business Suite, OBIEE and Oracle Discoverer.
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated report-development and dashboard development experience using OBIEE 10g and 11g and Noetix.
Experience migrating reports for eBusiness suite 11i to R12
Experience converting reports from Oracle Discoverer to OBIEE.
Experience with ETL and star schema.
Must be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects and manage deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC and Social Security verification.
Successful completion of a credit check necessary for those travel-related roles that will require the candidate to obtain the appropriate credit line required to travel.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in day-to-day finance functions in COGNOS.
Experience using Oracle Essbase for report development.
The candidate should have the capacity to troubleshoot complex problems with existing reports. The candidate will work closely with the IT functional analysts, technical team and DBA team for optimal solution service delivery.
