Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ISDS or related field required. Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a degree.Must have a minimum of ten years IT-related experience to include a minimum of 5 years management experience. .High degree of competency with formal IT methodologies such as project management, quality assurance, project steering/governance, BPM and organizational development best practices needed. PMP, BPM, QA certifications preferred.Working knowledge of standard hardware systems and software development and analytical abilities must be technologically current.Effective interpersonal and leadership skills are IT staff, promotes career development opportunities, provides mentoring to the staff to encourage personal growth and advancement, aand promotes delivery of high quality customer service and team productivity. Actively pursues personal leadership development to ensure growth and the ability to demonstrate a high level of quality and participates in the development and monitoring of the organizations IT strategic and complementary tactical plans. The strategy and tactics are to be responsive to and properly aligned with the organizations mission, goals, and objectives.Develops, manages, and builds strong relationships / partnerships with clients, vendors, peers/other teams, and staff to ensure a high level of personal and team understanding of the clients business operations, IT support needs, and IT service expectations.Ensures quality and timeliness of business oriented solutions aimed at providing positive effects on operational results while optimizing the overall impact to the organizations performance.Responsible for the planning, management, and protection of IT financial resources accomplished by approaching work with a focus on cost efficiencies that provide tangible cost savings and improved IT productivity through fundamentally sound implementation of as an advocate and ensures adherence to IT governance practices and methodologies.Understands IT Departmental Goals and Objectives and delivers work products to contribute to those goals.From incumbents resume:Responsible for the efficient and effective management of a team of 60
technical professionals responsible for Governance, Project Management, and Quality Assurance.Responsible for the IT Project Office. During my tenure this group has transformed from managing IT centric projects and IT deliverables on large corporate initiatives to a strategic asset to BCBSLA capable of project and program managing both corporate level and IT initiatives.Developed a specialized group of project managers and technical systems analysts charged with all core technology, security, and infrastructure projects. This portfolio of work includes initiatives that are critical to executing the IT Division long term strategy and maintaining core IT services such as major system upgrades, capability and performance analysis of major platforms, disaster recovery testing, and establishing/implementing new IT processes based on the COBIT and ITIL frameworks.Responsible for IT Quality Assurance, which is charged with establishing and maintaining a culture of quality across the department. During my tenure the ITQA group has transitioned from a project focused team used solely during the SIT and UAT phases of project work to driving quality in all phases of the project lifecycle. The IT QA group has also incorporated testing of operational and support level work completed by key application and infrastructure teams.Major Achievements:In conjunction with the Corporate PMO, co-led an initiative to transform the Enterprise Planning process to a model that is based on balancing demand and capacity across strategic priorities and utilizing limited on the creation of, and participated on an IT Finance Committee charged with maintaining a sustainable IT finance model for a large healthcare provider with annual IT budget of $70M.Established and led a Problem and Incident management practice for a 350

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
