30%25%20Cleans lobbies, bathrooms, hallways, meeting rooms, ballrooms, billiards area, and administrative area of the Union by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and polishing.Mixes or blends cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary.
25%25%20Responsible for set-upsand break-downs associated with daily events in meeting rooms, lobbies, ballrooms and exterior grounds.
20%25%20Cleans, strips, waxes and polishes floors using industrial size mops and commercial type floor machines. Fills commercial floor machines with cleaning solution of proper concentration, empties unused solution into appropriate container.
10%25%20Cleans floor machines and checks and recharges batteries. Washes, rinses and dries industrial size wet mops, dust mops, and commercial floor pads. Operates wet/dry vacuuming carpet extraction equipment and other commercial equipment as required for cleaning and shampooing carpets.
10%25%20Empties (exterior and interior) trash and recycling containers, transports waste material to outdoor refuse containers or recycling containers as needed.Cleans, decontaminates, and deodorizes waste containers using proper materials according to label directions.

Position is in the Career Progression Group (training series); level of position filled and pay above the SER (Custodian 1 $7.57/hr. or Custodian 2 $8.70/hr.) will depend on qualifications of candidate selected. Work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., off on Sunday and Monday. An offer of employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment background check.
