years experience developing natural gas storage systems to support projects involving underground salt formations which are well suited to natural gas storage.
Design Application Strategies:
Prevent injected natural gas from escaping from storage unless specifically extracted.
Ensure walls of a salt cavern are strong and impervious to gas over the lifespan of storage facilities.
Help identify suitable structures and formations.
Develop pumping, compressing, piping and related equipment solutions
Should be familiar with:
Solution mining.
Boreholes
Cushion gas requirements.
Cycle times
Large Cap company offers excellent compensation and benefits. Base salary to $180,000, depending on experience and academic credentials, plus sign-on bonus, performance bonus. Benefits include Life & Health Insurance, paid holidays, 401K plan and PTO.
