Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with patient registration and check-in process - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care - Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, verifying insurance information, and collecting payments
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred - Knowledge of medical scheduling systems, such as Epic, is a plus - Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations - Experience working in a dental office or emergency room is beneficial - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Note:
