Collectively, each program, unit, division and group work together to provide the core services to taxpayers of the State of Louisiana and stakeholders of the agency.
LDR is comprised of the following groups:
Tax Collection, Charitable Gaming, Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC), Debt Recovery, and Louisiana Tax Free Shopping Commission.
The Support Services Division provides the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) with a wide array of services that support the operation of the agency.
Some of the services this division provides includes:
document warehousing; fleet management; forms management and distribution; inventory procurement and management; supply management and distribution; mail services; records management; courier services for LDR and other government agencies; support for office space and/or reconfigurations; and security and telecommunications management.
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
The incumbent of this position performs a variety of duties un the Support Services Division.
The incumbent must be familiar with and must continuously use safety equipment and practice safety techniques to protect him/her from injury while performing physical, or labor-intensive duties.
Specific Duties Include:
Retrieves bulk, P.

Box and certified agency mail form United State Postal Service Sorts classified P.
O.
Box mail for all LDR division Preforms sorts of standard, package and specialty , mail for processing on the mail sorting and/or mail opening equipment Opens all mail items in accordance with assigned priorities Mail trays are examined to extract personal mail, mail not for LDR, mail retuned as undeliverable etc.
Processes incoming mail Assists with the organization and cleanliness of LDR's warehouse If certified - operates forklift AN IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
