Motivates and leads the count team staff to ensure employees have adequate resources and guidance to achieve established objectives.
Understands and maintains the department budget and policies and procedures to ensure proper administration of department.
Facilitates training and developmental procedures to ensure extraordinary guest service standards are achieved.
Maintains protection of extremely large amounts of currency, ensuring prevention of loss by providing extreme care and attention to detail.
Ensures that procedures and proper controls are affected to protect counted funds.
Maintains awareness of changes and/or problems that may affect the security of the currency in the Count Room and reports observances to the Count Room Supervisor.
Counts and reconciles total funds to ensure the integrity of the count.
Responsible for conducting a mechanically assisted count of the contents of the bill validator boxes.
Conducts all facets of the count from the opening of the boxes, counting of the drop, verification of documentation and bundling of currency to the final reconciliation of totals, as well as any other related tasks.

Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates Ability to identify and quickly count different denominations of currency This position is physical in nature and requires the incumbent to effectively and efficiently move around work areas, bend, squat, reach, twist, carry and move up to 50 pounds retrieving and emptying count boxes Ability to push/pull the drop cart, with assistance, which can weigh up to 2000 pounds Ability to remain standing for majority of shift and move around the Count Room in an efficient manner Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas This position spends majority of shift on the gaming floor, and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed Knowledge of AS/400 computer system and 10-key calculator Knowledge of cashiering or banking operations Ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, coworkers, and management Ability to count and separate varying denominations of currency Ability to motivate and direct the performance of subordinates Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Louisiana gaming license.
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older STAY IN THE GAME.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
