This company is a multi-facility medical group located in Baton Rouge with locations throughout Louisiana.
This position is responsible for providing administrative HR support to the corporate office and offsite HR team members while assisting with HRIS maintenance.
Responsibilities of the Position Include:
Provide general HR support to a team of HR representatives to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Process garnishments and child support inquiries.
Reconcile benefit invoices while ensuring payroll deductions are accurate.
Assist with processes associated with benefits administration.
Process verifications of employment.
Process unemployment claims.
Coordinate with the broker to ensure benefit enrollments/terminations are processed timely and accurately.
Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state leave requirements.
Support HRIS to streamline HR processes.
Requirements:
Experience in the medical industry strongly preferred.
Must have 2-5 years in an HR Generalist role.
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
HR Certifications strongly preferred.
