This role involves working during the night shift and handling various tasks, such as stocking shelves, cleaning, and assisting customers with their purchases.

Responsibilities:

50/ hour Greet customers and provide friendly and courteous service Complete sales transactions with store customers at fixed point-of-sale kiosks in a commercial convenience store environment Utilizes interactive touchscreen interface at a point-of-sale sales kiosk to collect payment for store purchases Reconciles sales transactions Records, reports, completes and handles transactions with customers on sales and concerns Makes hot and cold food items and maintains deli cleanliness Makes coffee and tea and maintains drink area cleanliness Cleans and stocks customer bathroom areas Wipes down gas pumps and maintain lot Sweeps and maintains store including taking out the trash, dusting shelving, and cleaning windows Stocks and maintains merchandise on shelves and store cleanliness Sells fuel and general merchandise at self-service station Adhere to safety and security procedures, such as checking IDs for age-restricted purchases Answers customer inquiries about various services Complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Must have or be able to obtain a Louisiana State and East Baton Rouge Parish liquor license Excellent customer service skills & ability to resolve customer concerns Integrity and honesty Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Outgoing and energetic Basic math skills Professionalism in all aspects, including appearance Effective communication and interpersonal skills Cash handling- Accurately receives payment for goods and services, manages petty cash, makes deposits, manages and deposits tips Multi-tasker-cashiers must sometimes juggle answering phones, popping popcorn, directing customers, and running the register all while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
