Depends on Experiencer The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources.
The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third party software, and custom applications.
OTS leads the State's technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Elicit, analyze and document customer business needs and requirements for the project oDefine and document business functions and processes oConsult with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements oAnalyze the integration of business functions with technology oPerform GAP analysis to determine if business requirements are being met oPerform and/or facilitate business and technical analysis in support of project design and implementation oIdentify and document relevant business processes contained in legacy application data systems Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Three (3) years of experience in Business Analysis including eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business functions, processes, and requirements oExcellent verbal and written communication skills oExperience creating requirements documentation for complex projects oExperience identifying and documenting business processes contained in legacy application data systems Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
oBusiness Analysis certifications such as PMI-PBA or CBAP oExperience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile Environment Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Business Analysis Business Processes Business Requirements Certified Business Analysis Professional Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
