Senior Automation Engineer

Position OverviewThe Automation Engineer III ensures successful completion of both company and client objectives at the project level.
The primary focus of Automation Engineer III is to lead quality design, development, installation and fulfillment of processes and systems utilized for project execution.
Primary Job Functionso Leads and participates in design and development of automation systems.
o Tests, troubleshoots, and provides solutions for technical problems and team members.
o Manages technical related tasks with internal team members.
o Leads project tasks in design, development, testing, installation, commissioning, project closure and inspections/reporting.
o Leads the following project tasks:
- Project Kickoff- System Design / Procurement- Programming / Configuration- FAT- SAT / Commissioning- Close-out Documentationo Interfaces with the client / vendor on project technical requirements.
o Leads overall compliance and quality of projects.
o Responsible for delivery of all project tasks within allotted project budget.
o Contributes to project scope and budget development.
o Provides project level consultancy and client service.

Requirementso Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and preferred 5 years of Automation or Controls related experience (includes relevant intern or co-op).
o Experience should include a minimum of 2 years of leading automation tasks within a team.
o Technical Expert of multiple automation system platforms including DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA and other applicable systems.
o Experience in implementing solutions based on industry standards (ISA, NFPA, NEC).
o Ability to obtain ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP ) certification.
o Valid driver's license.
o Reliable personal transportation with valid liability insurance.
o Fluent in verbal and written English.
o Available for after-hour, weekend and holidays.
o Available for overnight and extended travel.
o Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and push, pull or lift 50+lbs for an extended period.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
