Baton Rouge, LA Baton Rouge, LA Part-time Part-time $13 - $21 an hour $13 - $21 an hour 20 hours ago 20 hours ago 20 hours ago Drive multi-passenger vehicles to transport passengers between the center and their home Comply with traffic regulations in order to operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner Check the condition of vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order Follow safety rules as passengers are boarding and exiting the vehicle Pick up and drop off children according to an assigned transportation route, following strict time schedules.
Read maps, follow written or verbal directions Escort children on or off the vehicle as needed.
Maintain knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures Maintain Transportation Notebooks according to policy and procedure Prepare and submit reports that may include the name of passengers, transportation time, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspection reports Immediately report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs to the Administrator Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations via the vehicle cell phone or other land line.
Assist nursing staff in an emergency situation Successfully completes emergency training and mandatory in-services Other duties assigned Job Type:
